A significant milestone was reached in July 1996, when the business transitioned from a sole proprietorship into a private limited company, marking the formal establishment of Vans Intercontinental Wines & Spirits (M) Sdn. Bhd. under renewed leadership and strategic investment.
Guided by Managing Director Mr. Shanmuganathan Arumugam, the company was restructured into its present form — with a clear focus on scalability, regulatory compliance, and sustainable long-term growth.

The company holds a valid manufacturing licence issued under the Customs Act 1967 (Excise Act 1976), Section 20 & Regulations (Bottling & Liquor) 01000100, authorising the production and bottling of wines and spirits in Malaysia.
In addition, we are certified under the MeSTI (Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri) programme by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, ensuring that our manufacturing processes comply with stringent food safety and quality standards.
